Storyline:
Two versions of the American dream now stand in sharp contrast. One views the money you earned as yours and best allocated by you; the other believes that an elite in Washington knows best how to allocate your wealth. One champions the traditional American dream, which has played out millions of times through generations of Americans, of improving one's lot in life and even daring to dream and build big. The other holds that there is no end to the "good" the government can do by taking and spending other peoples' money in an ever-burgeoning list of programs. The documentary film I Want Your Money exposes the high cost in lost freedom and in lost opportunity to support a Leviathan-like bureaucratic state.

It mostly centered around economics (current and historic) and had great interviews as well as cartoon characters of presidents of the past and present interacting with each other (sometimes very funny) explaining their own slant on what type of economy is best for America. Very entertaining as well as hugely informative -- all that they needed was Glenn Beck doing some blackboard work! It was presented with a conservative slant, but did a great job in portraying the reasoning of both sides of the political spectrum. I believe you will all enjoy this one. I just wish it would have come out a month ago, and that independents would be forced to watch a well-reasoned presentation.

This movie is politically charged, and exposes the stark divide between liberals and the rest of the country when it comes to tax and spending policy. Unfortunately, some have decided to post negative reviews before the movie's 10/15 opening date, which suggests that these losers have a political motivation. The movie explains in detail the effects of excessive liberal tax and spend policies and how they're destroying our country. A must-see movie for anyone who loves their country.

I went for the laughs, but came away with a better knowledge of history than I ever had before. Politically inactive until 4 years ago, I learned things about Reagan that I never took the time to pay attention too when I was only in my 20's and early 30's. His words ring true, his common sense impressed, and his ability to speak in public makes Obama look like the weak scripted whiner cry baby he is. Reagan inspired us up with acknowledgement of the greatness of the US, its' history and it's citizens. Meanwhile Obama tears us down and treats us like children, too dumb to understand what "He Thinks" is good for us.. I hope our new leaders waiting in the wings can learn that conservative values can be expressed in a way that builds enthusiasm and support among all ages. This movie was a great example of turning an important message into the sound bites that people can remember as they prepare to go to the polls... I could see November from the movie theater.

This film does a VERY good job reviewing what happened that caused the crisis that led to the huge government takeover of the American way of life by the Obama administration. The last 2 or 3 years of Bush's term gets criticized, too--but regardless, the case is made for a smaller federal government and free markets. A worthwhile film, good humor in its cartoon likenesses of current political leaders, and nice way for young people to be introduced to the philosophy of Ronald Reagan.

This low budget movie nailed the current problem with the American society and politics. Loved it. Thoroughly entertained as well! If you are concerned about current stage of the U.S. you must see this and VOTE in November!
